PREAMBLE

We, the members of Save Thyself International Moorish Ministries (S.T.I.M.M.), a faith-based organization rooted in the sacred principles of the Moorish Empire and guided by divine wisdom, do ordain and establish this Constitution as the supreme law governing our organization, its operations, and our collective commitment to spiritual restoration, knowledge of self, and nation-building.

ARTICLE I: Establishment and Authority

Section 1: Name and Purpose

S.T.I.M.M. is established as a sovereign, faith-based Moorish ministry and private membership association dedicated to the spiritual restoration, empowerment, and self-determination of its members. The organization operates as a trustee and governing body committed to upholding the sacred principles of Moorish heritage and enabling the sustainable development of our communities.

Section 2: Sovereignty

S.T.I.M.M. exercises sovereign authority over its internal operations, membership governance, and community services. This authority is derived from the sacred principles of our faith, the consent of our members, and our commitment to self-governance and mutual support.

Membership is organized into distinct tiers based on commitment level, verified credentials, and governance participation: (1) Initiate - foundational membership for those beginning their journey, (2) Architect - advanced members engaged in community building, (3) Steward - senior members with governance responsibilities, and (4) Covenant Provider - providers of services and expertise to the community.

Section 2: Member Rights and Responsibilities

Members are responsible for upholding STIMM values, complying with constitutional provisions and public laws, and contributing to the community's growth and sustainability.

Section 3: Membership Approval and Accountability

Membership is subject to approval by the governing council and remains contingent upon adherence to STIMM principles and Public Laws. The organization reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violations of constitutional provisions or harmful conduct contrary to organizational values.

ARTICLE III: Governance Structure

STIMM is governed by a Governing Council responsible for establishing organizational policy, overseeing operations, and ensuring adherence to constitutional principles. The Council is composed of representatives from key departments and senior members representing various membership tiers.

Section 2: Departmental Organization

Operations are organized into departments, each responsible for specific areas of ministry work: Spiritual Ministry, Community Development, Erudition and Knowledge, Healing and Wellness, Housing and Stability, Agriculture and Self-Sufficiency, Youth Development, and Member Services. Each department is led by a director accountable to the Governing Council.

Section 3: Decision-Making and Accountability

The Governing Council operates through transparent deliberation and consensus-building among representatives. Major decisions affecting membership and organizational direction are documented and communicated to members. All governance actions are subject to audit and accountability mechanisms outlined in the Public Laws.

ARTICLE IV: Constitutional Amendment and Evolution

Section 1: Amendment Process

Amendments to this Constitution may be proposed by members or the Governing Council. Proposed amendments require approval by a two-thirds majority of the Governing Council and affirmation by at least 60% of active members. The amendment process ensures that constitutional changes reflect the collective wisdom and commitment of the organization.

Section 2: Living Document

This Constitution is recognized as a living document that may evolve to reflect the growth, learning, and changing needs of the organization while remaining grounded in core principles of sovereignty, justice, and spiritual restoration.
